A big shock has been given to the BRS party by one of its members who quit by writing a resignation letter to the party supremo KCR. The name needs no introduction and he is the EX MP from Bhongir and a medical veteran Shri Boora Narsiah Goud. Mr. Goud went to the Delhi day before yesterday just after attending the nomination ceremony of his now rival party's Munugode candidate. He has a significant amount of following from the BC community from Nalgonda and in fact he has lost with a slight majority in the 2019 general elections.

Mr. Goud has cited that he has not given any courtesy and importance at the party and no one respected his opinions. He also asserted that his own party members have tried to defeat him in the elections and have not supported him during his campaign. Mr. Goud has wide experience in politics and in fact before he began the political journey he chaired the JAC during the separate statehood struggle.
Unlike most of the leaders in the BRS party, Mr. Goud is a wise politician and has achieved numerous accomplishments in his career. His kind personality and his philanthropic activities made him a people's leader from the gross root levels.
How TRS will be affected by his resignation
This is a major setback for the TRS party and cannot be imaginable and digestible. The Munugode by-poll is not even a month from now and the TRS is still facing anti-incumbency not at the constituency level but in fact from the Chief Minister. There are almost 35 thousand votes which account for GOUDS in the Munugode constituency. With the resignation of Mr. Goud, it is very uncertain whether the people of Munugode, especially from GOUDS, will cast vote for TRS.
