People remembered the Birth Anniversary of Birsa Munda on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the tribal leader. On the occasion of Birsa Munda's birthday, India celebrates Janjatiya Gaurav Divas commemorating his sacrifice. Various other Leaders also attended this ceremony.
Birsa Munda was a tribal leader In the time period of British rule. He was against the practices of Christianity and its followings. Birsa Munda fought against British rule. Brisa Munda was sentenced to jail many times by British officers. He was also sentenced to death. He died in jail later.
